Shubham Dwivedi was one of the deceased in the recent terror attack that took place on Tuesday in Pahalgam, Jammu and Kashmir. Dwivedi, a newlywed who had gone to Kashmir with his wife for a short vacation, was among the civilians killed in the attack. He was married on February 12, 2025, just two months before. But unfortunately, his short trip turned into a nightmare. Video of Shubham, a day before the attack has gone viral, in which he can be seen playing cards with family and friends in a hotel room. He looks happy and cheerful while sharing laughter with close ones. He is heard saying: “Main Sabko Hara dunga (I will defeat everyone).” The video had been posted by his wife a day before the horrific attack. Shubham was businessman from Kanpur district in Uttar Pradesh.
Speaking to ANI, his cousin, Saurabh Dwivedi, stated that the terrorist started firing after asking the names of the individuals and was shot in the head. “Shubham Bhaiya got married on February 12 this year. He was in Pahalgam with his wife. My sister-in-law called my uncle and told him that Shubham was shot in the head. It is also being said that the firing started after asking for the names of the individuals. We have received information that the body will be released after 2-3 days after completing all the procedures,” he said.

Pahalgam Terror Attack
26 civilians were killed and several others were injured in the Pahalgam terror attack. The responsibility for the brutal killing has been claimed by the Resistance Front (TRF), a proxy outfit of Lashkar-e-Taiba. Union Home Minister Amit Shah paid tribute to Pahalgam terror attack victims in Srinagar. Prime Minister Narendra Modi held meeting with EAM S Jaishankar and NSA Ajit Doval at the Palam Airport. PM arrived in Delhi on Wednesday, cutting short his Saudi Arabia visit. The Indian Army and Jammu and Kashmir Police have launched a search operation in the general area of Baisran, Pahalgam, Anantnag, to nab the attackers.
Meanwhile, the Civil Aviation has arranged four additional flights from Kashmir – two each to Delhi and Mumbai – on Wednesday for the safe transfer of tourists.
