Deepotsav celebrations: Ayodhya decked up to welcome Prime Minister Modi today

New Delhi: Prime minister will visit Ayodhya on Sunday after visiting Ujjain Baba Kedarnath, and Swami Badrinarayan in the Mahakal city. He will visit Ayodhya, birth place of lord Ram, on the eve of Diwali for the Deepotsav celebrations. The sixth iteration of Deepotsav is taking place this year, and the Prime Minister will be taking part in the festivities in person for the first time. Around 5 o’clock, PM Modi will offer Bhagwan Shree Ramlala Virajman’s darshan and puja.

On the occasion of Choti Diwali, Prime Minister Modi is travelling to Ayodhya (PM Modi at Ayodhya).  The Prime Minister will attend the Yogi government’s great festival of lights as the honorary guest of honour and assess the status of the Shri Ram temple’s construction.

PM Modi will tour the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra after the prayer session.

“He will perform the Rajyabhishek of the symbolic Bhagwan Shri Ram at around 5:45 o’clock. The Prime Minister will attend Aarti at New Ghat on the Saryu River at approximately 6:30 PM, and then the major Deepotsav celebrations will begin “have a look at a PMO official statement.

This Diwali, Ayodhya is decorated with “Ramayana gates” and tableaux to try to recreate the atmosphere of the Ramayana period that mirrors the feel of the “Tretayuga.” On this day, over 15 lakh diyas will be lit on the occasion. Five animated tableaus and eleven Ramleela tableaus with different dance forms from different states will also be put up during Deepotsav. Besides these, Prime Minister will also enjoy the 3-D Holographic Projection Mapping Show at Ram Ki Paidi at the banks of river Saryu along with the Grand Musical Laser Show.

“Preparations have gotten more serious as Diwali draws near. 30 different types of welcome gates with various names are being prepared for Deepotsav from the Ayodhya Highway to Nayaghat “It was stated in a statement.

Some welcoming gates bear the names “Ram Setu Dwar” and “Bharat Dwar,” respectively. Every legendary figure connected to Rama has their own gate, including Sita Dwar, Shabari Dwar, Ahilya Dwar, Jatayu Dwar, Hanuman Dwar, and Lavkush Dwar.

According to the statement, a selfie spot has been established close to the statues of Lord Ram, Sita, Lakshman, Bharat, Shatrughan, and Hanuman on Ram Ki Paidi.

Graphics showing Lord Ram’s return to Ayodhya from Lanka by Pushpak Vimana are also being created in an effort to educate the younger generation.
