The prime minister said, “When our drones destroy the walls of the enemy’s fort, when our missiles reach the target with a whizzing sound, the enemy hears ‘Bharat Mata Ki Jai’. When we light up the sun even at night, the enemy sees ‘Bharat Mata Ki Jai’. When our armies blow away the threat of nuclear blackmail, then only one thing resonates from the sky- ‘Bharat Mata Ki Jai’. All of you have made millions of Indians proud, have made every Indian’s mother proud, you have created history, and I have come among you this morning to see you.”

Operation Sindoor
Today, PM Modi’s meeting with jawans in Adampur comes in the wake of “Operation Sindoor,” where Indian Armed Forces targeted nine terrorist camps in Pakistan and Pakistan-occupied Jammu and Kashmir.
India’s Ministry of Defence said the action was in direct response to the April 22 Pahalgam terror attack that killed 25 Indian nationals and one Nepali citizen. Indian Armed Forces successfully struck nine terror targets, four in Pakistan, including Bahawalpur, Muridke, and Sialkot, and five in Pakistan-occupied Jammu and Kashmir (PoJK), using special precision munitions in a coordinated operation.
