Initially, the woman had claimed that she was abducted by the duo, who then took her to an abandoned house where she fell prey to rape and physical assault on a Saturday night. She also asserted that her assailants had fled with her clothes.

However, subsequent investigations by the police uncovered a different narrative. It was revealed that the woman had willingly gone with the two men, but a dispute arose when they insisted on her spending the night with them. The woman, desiring to return home, found herself constrained into staying. In an attempt to seek assistance, she removed her clothes and approached a passerby, falsely claiming she had been gang-raped, according to the officials.
