Nripendra Mishra, Chairman of the Construction Committee of Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra, on Wednesday said Ram Darbar, which has idols of Ram, Sita, Laxman, and Hanuman, will be installed on the first floor of main temple in Ayodhya.
While talking to news agency ANI, Nripendra Mishra, said, “The main temple will be established with a ‘Puja’ by 5 June… The first floor, the second floor, and the spire of the temple have been constructed. Ram Darbar, which has idols of Ram, Sita, Laxman, and Hanuman, will be installed on the first floor. Their idols were crafted by artisans in Jaipur using the finest, highly regarded Makrana marble found in the mines of Rajasthan. The idols have been dispatched from Jaipur and will reach Ayodhya by 23 June and 14 smaller temples will also be consecrated by 5 June in the Ram Mandir premises.”
“One main pending task that will be completed in September is constructing a small part of the rampart… As per the information I have received, the Trust has decided that within one week of the consecration, the devotees can visit the temples… Since the temple’s first floor has limited space and the stairs can only hold a certain amount of weight, 750-1000 people will be allowed to visit the Ram Darbar in a day. For this, people can get a pass online,” Mishra said.
