Northwest and Central India are experiencing severe weather with forecasts predicting increased temperatures and heat wave warnings for many of the regions. Although there will not be a significant increase in maximum temperatures across Northwest India, Gujarat, and Maharashtra in the next two days, a slow decline is expected thereafter.
Central India will follow a similar trend. Meanwhile, heat wave to severe heat wave conditions, warm nights, and hot and humid weather are likely for many areas in the coming days including Rajasthan, Punjab, Haryana, and portions of Delhi. Areas of Delhi NCR have already reached elevated temperatures, with both minimum and maximum readings above normal.
