Delhi’s Dipping Air Quality

The air quality of Delhi is in ‘very poor’ state on Thursday. Earlier in the morning, there were smoke and low visibility across the national capital.

Overall Air Quality Index (AQI) stands at 396, according to System of Air Quality & Weather Forecasting & Research.

Stubble Burning

Despite various policies and schemes by previous Congress government and current AAP regime, farmers claim that they are compelled to burn the remaining parts of their crops or the insects (pink worm) will affect their produce.

They claimed that last year they followed the government’s procedure but lost their produce. So they better burn the stubble this time.
