Uttar Pradesh Madhyamik Shiksha Parishad has found 14 fake candidates and 9 cases of unfair means in the UP Board examination for Class 10 and Class 12, which was held on February 24, 2025. The examination was conducted in two shifts in a day. In the first shift, the Class 10 Hindi exam and Class 12 Military Science exam were held. In the second shift, the Class 10 Healthcare exam and Class 12 Hindi exam were conducted. On the first day of the UP Board examination, a total of 48,76,219 students appeared for the exams. Out of this, 24,74,862 students were in the morning shift, and 24,01,357 were in the evening shift.
In the first shift, six candidates were found cheating in Farrukhabad district, and one was caught cheating in Pratapgarh. Apart from this, in the second shift, one student each was found cheating in the Inter Board Exam in Mirzapur and Bijnor.
A total of 14 fake candidates were detected on the first day of the UP Board examination, 2025.
As quoted by Times Now, Board Secretary Bhagwati Singh has informed the education administration, “Therefore, you are expected to take the above-mentioned action in the case of examinees found using or involved in unfair means. Additionally, decisive and strict action should be taken under the relevant provisions of the Act against individuals other than the examinee, as described in Section 8.”
