Uttar Pradesh, the fourth-largest state in the country in terms of area, is undergoing various developmental projects. The state will soon receive a new airport in Noida. This will be a game changer project for the residents of Noida and Greater Noida. The Uttar Pradesh Government is working on various projects to boost connectivity in the state. The state government is undertaking these initiatives to strengthen infrastructure. To boost the Connectivity the state government has planned a link route which will be connecting Ganga Expressway with the Jewar Airport. One such project involves laying a 240-km-long new railway line and building a 76-km link expressway. The objective is to benefit the residents of several districts and villages in Uttar Pradesh. This will not only improve road travel but also enhance railway connectivity.
The railway route will pass through five districts of Uttar Pradesh, providing better transportation options for rural areas. The state government has announced the construction of a 76-km route connecting Noida International Airport and the Ganga Expressway. The planned 76-kilometer link expressway will serve as a crucial connection between the Ganga Expressway and its other terminus. The estimated cost of this project is around Rs 4,415 crore. This new link expressway will pass through 57 villages, benefiting locals and making travel more convenient.
Additionally, it will connect Jewar, or Noida International Airport, with the Ganga Expressway, further enhancing connectivity and boosting tourism in the state. According to reports, this development will make travel between Prayagraj and Noida more efficient.
As per media reports, the project will require approximately 1,000 hectares of land, which will either be acquired from farmers or purchased.
