Hapur, Uttar Pradesh: A shocking incident unfolded on Sunday morning in Uttar Pradesh’s Hapur city where a man was found dead near Anand Vihar colony. Police have recovered the body of the deceased, identified as Ankit Kumar, who was murdered using a sharp weapon. According to reports, the man’s body was found with a slit throat and an investigation is underway. Forensic teams have also launched a probe into the incident. Meanwhile, an First Information Report (FIR) has been registered.

According to Hapur Superintendent of Police, Kunwar Gyananjay Singh, the deceased man left his home Saturday night while speaking to someone on mobile phone. His body was found next morning on Sunday with a slit on his throat. “The deceased is a man called Ankit Kumar. His body was found here today. A cut with a sharp weapon was found on his neck. Forensics team is on the spot, SWAT team has also been called. Action is being taken after the registration of FIR. Case will be solved soon,” the Hapur SP informed.

In yet another incident that occurred last Friday, a conflict between two lawyer brothers ended in Tragedy after the younger one allegedly stabbed his elder sibling to death in Bengaluru. The incident reportedly occurred around 11.30 am following a heated dispute on ancestral property. The accused, identified as Nagendra (30), visited his 35-year-old brother’s residence in Bommanahalli. According to police, a long-standing family feud over the inheritance of their father’s property is what turned deadly.
The victim was immediately rushed to a nearby hospital, but he succumbed to his injuries later, around 1.30 pm. Police have arrested the accused, reports added. The officials informed that the deceased was married and was a father to a 5-year-old son.
