Rajasthan: A massive fire broke out on Thursday, March 13, 2025, at a rubber warehouse in Jaipur’s Harmada. Fire tenders immediately arrived at the spot and managed to subdue the flames. According to Vishwakarma Police Station SHO Virendra, the blaze erupted in a godown of fan belts used in vehicles. However, the cause of the fire has not yet been identified.
At least 40 fire engines tried to extinguish the blaze. Fortunately, no casualties were reported from the fire. The SHO said, “The fire broke out in a godown of fan belts used in vehicles. The source of the fire is not known yet. It took almost 40 fire engines to subdue the blaze. There has been no loss of life. We had diverted the traffic and also evacuated people from nearby buildings.”

In yet another shocking incident that took place recently, three migrant workers from Uttar Pradesh were burnt to death in Delhi’s Anand Vihar slum area. The incident occurred on Tuesday when the tent in which the workers were sleeping caught fire. The police registered a case causing death due to negligence. According to reports, the workers were engaged in a contract for Indraprastha Gas Limited (IGL). The deceased were identified as Kanta Kumar, Jaggi, and Shyam Singh.
Reports revealed that the victims were residing in a temporary arrangement under a tent near the DDA plot in Manglam Road. The fire department received an alert of fire at 2:22 am. Meanwhile, a fire officer informed that at least three fire tenders were rushed to the spot and that they brought the fire under control at 2:50 am.
