Jitan Sahni, the father of VIP chief and former Bihar minister Mukesh Sahni, has been murdered. Reports say he was brutally killed at home with a sharp weapon, and his body was found mutilated.
Darbhanga SSP Jagunath Reddy confirmed that Jitan Sahni’s mutilated body was found in his house. The police have arrived at the scene and begun an investigation. Jitan Sahni’s house is located in Afjala Panchayat of Supaul Bazar in Darbhanga.
The report states that Jeetan Sahni was brutally murdered at home with a sharp weapon, causing panic in the area. The investigation has started. VIP party chief is currently in Mumbai, but after hearing about his father’s murder, he is heading to Patna.
Mukesh Sahni leads the Vikassheel Insaan Party (VIP) in Bihar. Before the elections, his party joined the India Block. This agreement was made between Mukesh Sahni and RJD with the upcoming Lok Sabha elections in mind.
Mukesh Sahni, known as the ‘Son of Mallah,’ focuses on the politics of the Mallah/Nishad community. In Bihar, Mallahs make up about seven percent of the population, though Sahni claims the community accounts for around 14 percent.
Before the elections, a video of Mukesh Sahni and Tejashwi Yadav went viral, showing them eating fish in a helicopter. Sharing the video during Navratri caused a lot of controversy.
