A law student, 20, was allegedly gang-raped by her boyfriend and three other men. The incident took place on August 13, in Visakhapatnam. Police arrested the four accused, as per press release on Tuesday by police.
The accused filmed the crime and blackmailed her for months. As per reports the incident made her attempt suicide on Monday.
Both woman and her boyfriend were in relationship over than a year. The boy promised to get married with her. The accused lured her and took her to his friend’s room where they allegedly assaulted her. The whole incident was filmed by the accused. By using those videos, they blackmailed her for months. The victim is a LLB final-year student.
The case came in front on Wednessday when YSR Congress Party tagged Andhra Home Minister Anitha and Deputy CM Pawan Kalyan in their X handle. They mentioned about the incident on their post on X.

They wrote that, “A law student was gang-raped by four youths in Visakhapatnam The atrocity was filmed on a cell phone and the victim was threatened many times. The victim tried to commit suicide because she could not stop the harassment of the accused.. The father saved her.”
After this the Police in Visakhapatnam tagged the media reports on their X handle . They confirmed the arrest of all four accused involved in this incident.
As reported by Indian Express, the four accused were Batha Vamsi, Boddu Jagdish, Polipalli Anand and Davulapalli.
