Watch: Drone Video Captures Jaish-e-Mohammad Terrorist Hiding Just Before Being Killed In Encounter In Pulwama

The terrorists were identified as Asif Ahmed Sheikh, Amir Nazir Wani, and Yawar Ahmed Bhat.

A video surfaced on the internet that shows three Jaish-e-Mohammed terrorists. This video shows how the terrorists were hiding in their hideout before getting killed in the encounter in Jammu and Kashmir’s Tral. Drone visuals captured the terrorists seeking refuge in an under-construction building, armed with weapons. An encounter that was held on May 15 in Pulwama led to the killing of three terrorists, all linked to the Pakistan-based outfit Jaish-e-Mohammed. Acting on intelligence inputs about their presence, security forces launched the operation. The terrorists were identified as Asif Ahmed Sheikh, Amir Nazir Wani, and Yawar Ahmed Bhat, according to sources.

A shocking incident unfolded in the Baisaran area of Pahalgam on April 22, 2025, where terrorists opened fire on a group of tourists, resulting in multiple injuries. 26 have been killed and several injured, which sent a shockwave through the popular tourist destination of Kashmir Valley. In reply to the Pahalgam attack, the Indian Armed Forces successfully executed ‘Operation Sindoor’  targeting key terrorist infrastructure in Pakistan and Pakistan-occupied Jammu and Kashmir. 

Foreign Secretary Vikram Misri on Friday, May 9, 2025, informed about the ceasefire between India and Pakistan. He said both sides would stop all firing and military action on land and in the air and sea, effective from 1700 hours of Indian Standard Time. However, on the same day, Pakistan violated the ceasefire.
