WATCH | Union Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw Shares Update On Bullet Train In New Video – 300 km Viaduct Completed!

The Railway Minister took to his official X handle to announce that 300 kilometers of viaduct have been completed.

Bullet Train Update: Union Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw on Tuesday shared an update on India’s ground-breaking Bullet Train Project along with a video. The Railway Minister took to his official X handle to announce that 300 kilometers of viaduct have been completed. Notably, the National High-Speed Rail Corporation Limited (NHSRCL) is responsible for overseeing the project’s completion.

As per the latest update, approximately 76% of the evacuation work on the Mumbai bullet train station has been finished. The station located at Bandra Kurla Complex is the only underground station in the country on the Mumbai-Ahmedabad High-Speed Rail Corridor. According to a release, currently three batching plants measuring 120 cum/hr in capacity are operational at the site.

The facilities at the site are provided with a modern concrete lab, including Water Permeability and Rapid Chloride Penetration Test. Additionally, each base Slab is being cast with M-60 grade of temperature-controlled concrete is being produced by in-situ batching plants and chiller plants.

The platform is designed to reach a depth of around 26 metres below the ground level. There will be three floors, which include: platform, concourse, and service floor. Meanwhile, the station will have a total of 6 platforms, each measuring approximately 415 m long. Earlier on May 12, Union Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw shared an update on the bullet train on his X handle.
