A big move from Patanjali Group in the Yamuna Expressway Industrial Development Authority (YEIDA) region. The group plans to develop industrial plots in this area. These plots will be planned on 430 acres of land, which was allotted to the Patanjali Group in 2017. The group will complete the entire process of allotment and then inform YEIDA about it.
Patanjali Group was allotted 430 acres of land in 2017 by the Yamuna Authority for a food and herbal park in Sector 24A. The group was given the right to sub-lease 20% of the land, but with the condition that only food processing and agricultural product-related ventures would be set up on these plots, as reported by Jagran.
The CEO of the Yamuna Authority established a committee for plot allotment oversight. However, during the 83rd Yamuna Authority board session, it was decided to authorize the Patanjali Group to launch its plot scheme. The Patanjali Group obtained the right to market building plots through a scheme while maintaining zero interference with the current area authority’s price policy. Any difference between the allotted plot price and the selling price must be directed to the Yamuna Authority as payment. The Authority benefits from having its staff complete development projects throughout the allocated land areas.
YEIDA On This Plan
YEIDA CEO Dr. Arun Vir Singh said that the authority granted Patanjali Group the capability to draw and market industrial plots following established parameters. Patanjali Group continues its development activity by creating a food and herbal park throughout the land they retain. The upcoming production phase will generate job opportunities for the people.
