A special financial literacy seminar titled “Nivesh Ki Baat – A Financial Literacy Program for Women” was successfully conducted in Mulund on Saturday 28th June 2025 by Siddhantha Wealth Managers, in collaboration with Agroha Vikas Trust – Mulund Bhandup Mahila Samiti, and supported by SBI Mutual Fund.
The event, spearheaded by Mrs. Sharda Deepakraj Lala, Founder of Siddhantha Wealth Managers and President of Agroha Vikas Trust (Mulund-Bhandup Mahila Samiti), focused on equipping women with practical knowledge about investment and money management.
Addressing the gathering, Ms. Lala highlighted how women have long played a critical role in managing household finances — through budgeting, cutting unnecessary expenses, and promoting the habit of saving within their families. “Now,” she said, “the time has come to take a step forward — from saving to strategic investing.”
The program aimed to:
* Create awareness around basic financial planning
* Introduce the fundamentals of mutual fund investing
* Empower women to make informed financial decisions
Participants engaged actively in the session, asking questions and sharing their experiences. Experts from the financial industry also shared insights on how small, disciplined investments can lead to long-term wealth creation.
The event marked an important move toward making financial literacy accessible and inclusive, especially for women who often take care of family finances but lack formal training in investment planning.
The initiative was well-received and is expected to pave the way for more such educational outreach programs in the near future.
