Early Life And Education

Manisha’s early education began at an Anganwadi center in her village. Her father, Gangaram Dharve, an engineer, chose to return to his village instead of working in a big city. He, along with her mother Jamna, who was also a teacher, ensured that Manisha received a good education. She completed her schooling in local government schools, where she excelled academically. After finishing her 10th grade with a score of 75% and her 12th grade with 78%, Manisha pursued a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from Holkar College in Indore. Throughout her studies, she nurtured the ambition of becoming an officer, inspired by the potential to serve her community.

The UPSC Journey

After completing her graduation, Manisha decided to prepare for the UPSC Civil Services Examination, one of the toughest competitive exams in India. She sought permission from her parents to move to Delhi for better preparation. Initially hesitant, her family eventually supported her decision.
However, the path was not easy. Manisha faced setbacks as she attempted the UPSC exam three times without success. Each failure was disheartening, and returning home after each attempt was a tough experience. Despite facing criticism and doubt from others, Manisha remained focused on her goal. She believed that hard work and perseverance would eventually lead her to success.

In 2023, after years of dedication and hard work, Manisha finally achieved what she had been striving for. She cleared the UPSC exam on her fourth attempt, securing an impressive rank of 257. Her success not only marked a personal victory but also inspired many others who face similar challenges.
