Through a Cricbuzz video, the former international cricketers Shaun Pollock and Adam Gilchrist selected their all-time Indian Premier League XI while following the tournament regulations of seven Indian and four overseas players. Chennai Super Kings selected MS Dhoni to lead their team in an all-time Indian Premier League best XI formation.

Two Overseas Batters in All-Time IPL XI
Cricbuzz published a video showing Adam Gilchrist and Shaun Pollock starting their process of selecting the all-time IPL XI through their initial overseas player choices. Adam Gilchrist selected Chris Gayle as his first pick before Pollock chose AB de Villiers. Pollock declared that de Villiers transformed modern T20 batting practice.
MS Dhoni Named as Captain
According to the legendary duo, Virat Kohli should open alongside Chris Gayle, and Suresh Raina of CSK earned the third spot on the all-time ranking list. The selection panel decided to pass on Rohit Sharma and KL Rahul for the opening batting positions. Virat became the highest run-scoring player in IPL history.
The batting structure positions Suryakumar Yadav at position number 5. Wicketkeeper-batter and captain MS Dhoni leads the team as their permanent leader. CSK has achieved five titles under Dhoni’s successful captaincy, making him one of the league’s most successful captains. The spin department consists of Ravindra Jadeja as well as Yuzvendra Chahal, followed by Narine.
