The fate of Prithvi Shaw in Mumbai cricket will always be the debatable issue since the moment the selectors chose to drop him in Ranji Trophy last year. He also failed to make it to Vijay Hazare Trophy and a lot of inquiries have been leveled against his fitness and discipline. After a completion of the old domestic season, it was announced that Prithvi Shaw has taken a decision to move out of Mumbai Cricket and sought the NOC. It has also declared that two or three state associations have knocked on the door of the cricketer. So, in the article we are going to consider where he might go next season with domestic starts.
Three Teams That Prithvi Shaw Can Join After Mumbai Exit
After his rift with Mumbai, it is only natural that Prithvi Shaw will get a new home in the 2025 26 domestic season, with Vidarbha being the most likely option. Karun Nair and Jitesh Sharma are set to leave the Ranji Trophy champions and Shaw is capable of filling the gap with an international experience and ability to attack. His knowledge of the cricketing environment in his home state Maharashtra and the fact that Karun Nair and Wasim Jaffer have previously played and performed well with Vidarbha in the past could also force him to shift to the eastern side of the state.

Kerala, Goa Too In The Competition For Prithvi Shaw
Kerala who finished runners-up last season in the Ranji final also could use someone like Shaw because Aditya Sarwate has vacated the post of experienced player. Having an uncertain future in the team with Sanju Samson, Shaw would have more freedom in the team as he can get regular chances to justify himself. Meanwhile, Goa is an ideal place where former Mumbai stars such as Arjun Tendulkar and Siddesh Lad also landed and Shaw has an opening to revive his career in a welcoming and new setting. He could probably captain the team too, given his leadership and charisma to a team, which is yet to find its way in making a statement in the home circuit.
