The IPL is scheduled to resume from May 17 with the Kolkata Knight Riders facing the Royal Challengers Bengaluru at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium, Bengaluru. Though there were many speculations about the return of the overseas players when the news of India-Pakistan conflict broke out. The play between the Delhi Capitals and the Punjab Kings was halted mid game, which brought a feeling of fear and doubts in the players, especially the foreign players. But after the announcement of the revised schedule, the Kolkata Knight Riders are ready with their full squad except England cricketer Moeen Ali.

Moeen Ali in IPL 2025
According to Revsports, Moeen Ali will not join the KKR camp for the remaining season of the IPL. Moeen Ali was acquired by the Kolkata Knight Riders for 2 crores during the IPL auction. His performance in this IPL has been less impactful than anticipated. In his 2 batting appearances, he scored just 5 and 0 and also took just 2 wickets in his overall 7 overs with a high economy.
Not Part Of The West Indies Series
Moeen Ali’s call for not attending the remaining IPL seems surprising as he was also not named in any of the squads for ODI or T20 series against West Indies which is to be initiated from May 29.
