Dubai: Asia Cup 2022 has come down to the title clash and the finalists are none other than those teams who lost their openings fixtures. Pakistan and Sri Lanka will be locking horns today to add up to their trophy haul.
In the rehearsal match, the hosts won the game and they got to know the strength and weaknesses of each other. Pakistan will now eye on getting their third Asia Cup 2022 and Sri Lanka will have the chance to add 6th trophy.
After the game on Friday, Babar Azam, “Thiswas definitely a good learning experience, we will sit back and analyze this game, and see where we can improve for Sunday.”
Whereas, Sri Lanka captain, Dasun Shanaka, was sure about his team and said, “The combination we have with the left-arm fast bowlers, the leg spinners – the variation we have is amazing. These are areas we can improve, if we could get early wickets in the next game that will be good.”
