The Board Of Control Cricket In India (BCCI) has revealed the latest Central Contract for the 2025 tenure. The board kept almost the same names on the list and also included some new faces who lit up with their sheer talent and skills.

Apart from some new face inclusions, there have been some exclusions as well from the central contract. Here are the players who’ve been excluded from the latest BCCI Central Contracts 2025:
- Shardul Thakur
- Jitesh Sharma
- Ravichandran Ashwin
- KS Bharat
- Avesh Khan
Shardul Thakur: The injury concerns and poor all-round performance resulted his exclusion.
Jitesh Sharma: Despite being in and out of the side, Jitesh was expected to be retained but Ishan Kishan’s presence in the latest central contract made him out of the list.
Ravichandran Ashwin: The former legendary spinner, Ravichandran Ashwin retired during the Border-Gavaskar Trophy 2024-25, so his exclusion was relevant.
KS Bharat: The wicket-keeper batter, KS Bharat is excluded due to inconsistency.
Avesh Khan: One of the notable names who has been excluded is Avesh Khan.

Grade C: Rinku Singh, Tilak Varma, Ruturaj Gaikwad, Shivam Dube, Ravi Bishnoi, Washington Sundar, Mukesh Kumar, Ishan Kishan, Sanju Samson, Arshdeep Singh, Prasidh Krishna, Rajat Patidar, Dhruv Jurel, Sarfaraz Khan, Nitish Kumar Reddy, Abhishek Sharma, Akash Deep, Varun Chakaravarthy, and Harshit Rana.
