Stadium Still Not Prepared, PCB Chief’s Optimistic Claims
Despite the delay, PCB chief Mohsin Naqvi said that 90% of the renovation work is done and that the stadiums will be ready. However, only 44 days are left and recent visuals from Lahore’s Gaddafi Stadium, where Australia and England are set to play their opening match, show that work is still going on.

ICC’s Plan for the Tournament
The ICC has announced the dates and venues of the event. It is going to start from 19 February, and all speculations regarding shifting the venue are being discussed on the ground whether the ICC would shift the event if Pakistan stadiums are not prepared.
Hybrid Format: Matches Across Two Countries
This year’s Champions Trophy would be played in the hybrid format: Pakistan and UAE. India is scheduled to play most of the matches in Dubai, and, depending on its progress in the group stage, a potential final could either be in Dubai or Lahore.
