The England vs India, second Test has been extremely thrilling and India has put back the pressure on England with skipper Shubman Gill leading from the front. It seemed that the match will start soon and the cover was removed, but it has been put back on. Even though it is not raining at the moment but the radar is indicating heavy rain which is likely to comeback again. Johnathan Trott gave a quick update and mentioned that as soon as the day brightens up then that would be a encouraging sign.

India is aiming for their first ever win in Edgbaston and this would mean that if India wins it would be after 58 long years. England was at 72/3 at stumps and they still need 536 more to win. India on the other hand needs 7 wickets for a dashing victory. The bowling arsenal of the Indian side also complemented its batters. Mohammad Siraj and Akash Deep did great with the ball in the first innings, with the former claiming 6 wickets and the latter putting 4 wickets in the bag for himself. After declaring the innings, the speedsters did not rest and went again after the English Batters. Sending 3 top batters of the English side back to the pavilion, India need just 7 wickets on the last day of the 2nd Test to bounce back after being defeated by the hosts at Leeds by a margin of 5 wickets.
