In the match between India and New Zealand in the Champions Trophy final, the Men In Blue secured an incredible win by 4 wickets. Indian skipper Rohit Sharma scored 76 runs and put a strong 100+ opening partnership with Shubman Gill which provided India a strong momentum.
The Kiwis have dominated India in ICC knockouts and defeated them in ICC Knockout Trophy (now Champions Trophy) in 2000. Now 25 years after India finally took revenge and registered a dominating win.

According to ICC, The white blazers are given as a big honour to the champions. It symbolizes tactical excellence, determination and success of the winning team.
The jackets were launched in 2009, by Mumbai based designer Babita M and it is made out of rich Italian wool.
“The jacket is white in colour with gold braiding designed to make it appear striking and give the jacket a slight edge. The specially commissioned logo has been carefully embroidered in the fabric color with a golden contour so as to let it attract the focal attention,” the ICC explained as quoted by Times Now
Team India’s Exceptional Performance In Champions Trophy Final
For India, Rohit Sharma (76) and Shreyas Iyer (48) stood out and showcased their exceptional batting skills, while in bowling both Kuldeep Yadav and Varun Chakaravarthy stepped up bagging 2 wickets each.
New Zealand also gave up a tough fight, with Daryl Mitchell scoring 63 runs followed by Michael Bracewell’s fighting 53-runs knock. For the Kiwis, Michael Bracewell and skipper Mitchell Santner picked 2 wickets each.

Ravindra Jadeja hit the winning four and India remained unbeaten in the whole event. Despite all-round efforts by New Zealand, Team India dominated the game and won the Champions Trophy title.
