Rohit Sharma Creates History
In the Eliminator match against Gujarat Titans, Rohit Sharma’s bat did all the talking as he scored 81 runs off 50 balls, including 9 fours and 4 sixes. Thanks to his explosive innings, Mumbai defeated Gujarat by 20 runs and secured a spot in Qualifier 2.
Rohit was adjudged Player of the Match for this brilliant performance. With this, he became the only player in IPL history to win the Player of the Match award in both an Eliminator and a Final. He had earlier won the award against CSK in the 2015 final. Now, by winning it against GT, he added another special record to his name.

Third Oldest Player to Win POTM in IPL Playoffs
