The Royal Challengers Bengaluru won another crucial match of the IPL 2025 by defeating the Punjab Kings by 7 wickets on home ground at Mullanpur, Chandigarh. Punjab Kings, batting first posted a low score of 157 as none of their batters managed to create an impact. Captain Shreyas Iyer failed miserably as he departed at mere 6 runs when he was ultimately caught by Krunal Pandya with a stunning catch. Chase master Virat Kohli smashed 73 runs and once again displayed his prowess as a batter who can adapt according to any format of the game.
On the field Virat Kohli and Royal Challengers Bengaluru were pumped with energy and took sweet revenge from Punjab Kings. But it wasn’t just limited on the field, after RCB won the match their official X (formerly twitter) handle didn’t hesitate to give it back.
When Punjab Kings won the match on RCB’s home ground at M. Chinnaswamy Stadium, PBKS trolled the franchise and now when RCB won, the revenge was served bitter both on and off the field. As soon as RCB won, Salman Khan’s post from 2014 was taken where he was asking “Zinta’s team won kya” to which RCB reposted and replied – “Sorry bro, not today.”
This wasn’t the end PBKS after winning made a remake of Virat Kohli’s video to which RCB again posted it and wrote “Every masterpiece has a copy. Stick to the original. Enjoy.”
In the third post, RCB posted “𝘐𝘧 𝘺𝘰𝘶 𝘤𝘢𝘯 𝘨𝘪𝘷𝘦 𝘪𝘵, 𝘺𝘰𝘶 𝘨𝘰𝘵𝘵𝘢 𝘵𝘢𝘬𝘦 𝘪𝘵 𝘣𝘢𝘤𝘬 𝘢𝘴 𝘸𝘦𝘭𝘭”
Sorry bhai, not today. 😌 https://t.co/9ZJgFY087H
