RCB head coach Andy Flower has put to rest fears about the finger injury sustained by Virat Kohli while playing their IPL 2025 match against GT on Wednesday.
It took place during the second innings when GT was batting, Sai Sudharsan produced a sweep off Krunal Pandya. At deep mid-wicket, Kohli made an attempt at holding the ball but misread it, so it slipped through his fingers and sped away to fetch a boundary. In the process, it seemed he damaged his finger as he winced in agony and there was much worry among followers.
But leaving all the speculations aside, head coach Andy Flower allayed fans’ fears in the post-match press conference, saying there’s nothing to worry about. “Virat looks fine, he’s okay,” Flower assured, hinting that the injury is not serious.
This means that Kohli will be available for the upcoming RCB matches.
