A piece of bad news has arrived for Team India on the first day of the Lord’s Test. Rishabh Pant got hurt while keeping wickets, following which he was forced out of the field. Dhruv Jurel came in as a replacement to attend to the gloves. It occurred while playing the 34th over of the innings. What Really Happened?
During the 34th over of the innings, a ball struck the fingers of the left hand of Rishabh Pant, following which he winced in agony. Physio was summoned on the ground, even after whose treatment Pant did not appear at ease. He was in severe pain. Pant was in such trouble that he departed from the field the moment the over was completed. In his stead, Dhruv Jurel was summoned on the field as a cover keeper. During the second Test match at Edgbaston, Pant could not perform well in the first innings but gave a good hand with the bat in the second innings by slamming a half century.
