England has revealed their playing XI for the upcoming Test at Headingley against India for the upcoming WTC 2025-27 cycle. England has released its playing XI before the first test against the Indian cricket team. In the series of five Test matches, the opening match will be at the Headingley ground in Leeds, starting on June 20. Ollie Pope will be observed to play at position 3. Concurrently, Brydon Carse, Chris Woakes, and Jacob Bethell have made their way back into the playing 11.

Chris Woakes, an all-rounder of Warwickshire, has come back to the team after a time of 5 months, since December. Brydon Carse is a fast bowler from Durham, who makes debut in a Test on home soil. His most recent five tests were in Pakistan and New Zealand.
