Chelsea star Mykhaylo Mudryk is at risk of getting into a lengthy suspension by the Football Association after his charges of doping. According to FA rules the winger might be suspended up to four years since giving a positive A sample last year. Meldonium is a prohibited performance enhancement drug due to which Mudryk is suspected of having the performance enhancement drug in his body. He has not played since November last year, being provisionally suspended, pending the result of a B sample, in which he and Chelsea are waiting.
FA Spokespersons Statement

Mudryk Enlists Legal Help from Firm That Aided Pogba
Mudryk hired Morgan Sports Law since his temporary suspension. It had already acted on behalf of the former Juventus and Manchester United midfielder Paul Pogba in a case against a four-year prohibition on doping which was eventually halved by the Court of Arbitration for Sport to 18 months. Mudryk sticks to the claim that he did not violate any regulations deliberately, but he is said to have tested negative last year (in August) and not changed his behavior.
Mykhaylo Mudryk’s Statement
“I can confirm that I have been notified that a sample I provided to The FA contained a banned substance. This has come as a complete shock as I have never knowingly used any banned substances or broken any rules, and am working closely with my team to investigate how this could have happened.
“I know that I have not done anything wrong and remain hopeful that I will be back on the pitch soon. I cannot say any more now due to the confidentiality of the process, but I will as soon as I can.”
