Former Cricketer Turns Into A Fraud, Has Bluffed Millions From Indian Star Rishabh Pant

A former cricketer in Haryana has been apprehended after bluffing Indian cricketer Rishabh Pant of a sum worth INR 1.63 Crores.

In what turned out to be a shocking turn of events, a former Haryana cricketer by the name of Mrinank Singh has been caught by Mohali police after he turned out to be a fraud and also bluffed Indian cricketer Rishabh Pant by taking INR 1.63 Crores from him.

Residing in Faridabad, Under the fake appearance of the ADGP of Chandigarh, Shatir, Mrinank also managed to deceive a Jalandhar-based travel agent, Vijay Singh, taking a sum of INR 5.76 lakhs from him. Mrinank had also told Taj palace hotel in 2022 that he was representing Mumbai Indians in the Indian Premier League and took INR 5.53 Lakhs from them.

The news caught attention when he targeted Indian cricketer Rishabh Pant of a massive sum of INR 1.63 Crores after the 26-year-old fell into the trap of the former cricketer who used to play for the Haryana Under-19 cricket team in his early days.

However, Mrinank was eventually caught for his deeds, as the Mohali police finally managed to track him down to a club in Panchkula, where he was caught alongside his partner in crime, Raghav.

It was during the course of the investigation, that the Mumbai Police came up with the fact that they had already registered a case against Mrinank for his bluff of a sum of worth Rs 1.5 crore against Rishabh Pant.

Now that the fraudulent duo of Mrinank and Raghav are under police’s custody, the police have got a two-day remand to get more insight into the activities of the pair.
