Hasan Ali Achieves An Unbelievable Milestone In PSL, Becomes The World’s First Bowler To Achieve This Feat!

In the last night's match of Karachi Kings vs Quetta Gladiators fans witnessed an amazing scene as Hasan Ali Achieved the milestone of having most wickets in PSL.

The Karachi Kings played against Quetta Gladiators in the PSL 2025’s tenth season during last night’s match. The Karachi Stadium served as the venue for this match where David Warner’s team claimed a 56-run victory against Quetta. During this match Playoff Hasan Ali recovered from cricket inactivity to establishing historical sporting milestones. During the match Hasan Ali achieved a major milestone when he dismissed three Quetta Gladiators batsmen through his bowling.

Hasan Ali’s Milestone In PSL

During Karachi Kings vs Quetta Gladiators match Hasan Ali delivered 3 wickets with 27 runs in his four-over spell. The 30-year-old Hasan Ali achieved this milestone by taking 116 wickets in his 84 innings at an average rate of 22.23 from his 85 PSL matches. This made him the first bowler to reach PSL’s most wicket milestone.

The record for the most wickets in PSL was previously held by former Pakistan fast bowler Wahab Riaz, who took 113 wickets in 87 matches between 2016 and 2023, with an average of 22.68. According to PSL statistics, Shaheen Shah Afridi ranks as the third-best player, having taken 108 wickets.

Match Summary

Karachi Kings began their innings after winning the toss by scoring 175 runs during their 20 overs while losing seven wickets. During Karachi’s inning James Vince achieved the match’s highest score with 70 runs which included 6 boundaries and 1 over-the-boundary hit. During their batting phase Quetta Gladiators managed to score 119 runs but lost their wickets nine times across 20 overs.

Three Quetta Gladiators batsmen achieved scores that reached double digits. As Quetta Gladiators’ captain Saud Shakeel achieved 33 runs but Mohammad Aamir followed closely with 30 runs. During Karachi Kings’ match Hasan Ali collected three wickets alongside Mohammad Nabi and Abbas Afridi who each secured two dismissals. James received Player of the Match recognition in acknowledgment of his superb performance.
