The LSG coach Justin Langer has remarked on the LSG’s skipper Rishabh Pant’s great character and leadership. Langer has praised Pant during the LSG vs GT game for how strong he has been during tough moment. He recalled how harsh the crash Pant experienced in December 23 was and how tough it has been for him to come back into international play. So, far Pant has had a difficult season in the ongoing 18th edition of IPL. He missed his usual form this year with just 151 runs and a strike rate below 120.

“You always judge a person’s character by how they go through tough times. And Rishabh’s stayed consistent the whole way through. I really respect that. We all know what he’s been through over the last couple of years, but he keeps stepping up, he keeps performing, he wants to get out in the middle, and he wants to keep fighting hard for the boys,” Langer said during the live broadcast.
“So from that point of view, he’s done a really good job. You would not know, and that’s a sign of a really strong person,” he added.
Rishabh Pants Performance In IPL 2025
Rishabh Pant has shown up and down form in IPL 2025. In 13 matches this season he has made 151 runs and the highest run score being 63 runs. He has made a half century but has not claimed a century. His batting average is 13.73 and his strike rate id 107.09. Because he is both a senior player and a wicketkeeper – batsman people wanted to see more from him. Even though he hasn’t scored much to this point, his fifty highlighted his explosive talent and capability to change a game.
