Rishabh Pant didn’t get many runs in the IPL 2025, yet he scored a century in the last match for Lucknow Super Giants. Lucknow missed out, but the Test management in India was surely relieved when Rishabh Pant regained his form before heading to England. After reaching 100 runs against Lucknow, Pant decided to take a break. After playing an unbeaten innings of 118 runs in 61 balls with 11 fours and eight sixes for Lucknow, he said about Team India’s upcoming England tour.
“There are many areas that we would like to talk about. We have to improve ourselves in many areas. But now this season is ending so I don’t know where the conversation is going to go. But now I want to switch myself off and not think about anything about cricket. The England series is coming and I want to take a break before that and get into a good frame of mind.” Pant said.

Rishabh Pant In IPL 2025
Pant, with the most expensive deal at 27 crores, could not score in any matches throughout the season, but he twirled his bat in the last match to get a century. But that was all for Lucknow and his side could only triumph in six games and had to endure losses in eight. So the Lucknow team increased their points to 12 and stayed in seventh position. Rishabh Pant managed to make 226 runs for the team, averaging 24.45 with a strike rate of just 133.16 when playing 14 matches. Now, Pant will represent the Test Team India in red ball cricket while in England. The Indian team will face England in a Test match from June 20.
