Prithvi Shaw’s downfall isn’t taking the name to stop. The latter faced the biggest setback when he went unsold in the Indian Premier League 2025 mega auction despite having a mere base price of INR 75 lakhs. Shaw was a significant contributor to DC’s batting lineup in his few initial stints with the franchise but there was a huge dip in form after 2022. During this period he got from the Indian team as well and due to the rising competition in the squad he hasn’t been looked over by the selectors.
