India and Australia are playing against each other in the fifth Test of the Border-Gavaskar Trophy 2024-25 series at the Sydney Cricket Ground. Bowlers have dominated in the match as of now because 26 wickets out of 40 have fallen towards the end of Day 2. India ended finished at 141/6 towards the end of Day 2 and currently lead by 145 runs. The Australian team was wrapped up for 181 runs in its first innings as the Indian bowlers displayed a brilliant bowling performance and removed all nine Australian batters as early as possible.

Yashasvi Jaiswal who was standing in the slips during Day 2 of IND vs AUS 5th Test tried to distract Sam Konstas. “Kya ho gya ab shot nahi dikh rahe kya (What happened? unable to see the shots now?). Oye Konstas, shots nahi lag rahe kya abhi (Hey Konstas, unable to play shots now?).”
Yashasvi Jaiswal gave a flying start to the Indian second innings during IND vs AUS 5th Test as he smashed three fours in the first over of Mitchell Starc. However, he couldn’t convert his flying start into a big score. The Indian team currently lead by 145 runs in the second innings and would look to add more runs as soon as possible on Day 3.
