New Delhi: After starting the day with a lead of 47 runs and six wickets still in hand, Australia suffered another collapse on Thursday to leave the door open for India. However, Nathan Lyon made sure to fetch Australia back into the match. Cheteshwar Pujara, who was staging a lone battle, was dismissed for 59 by Nathan Lyon.

Nathan Lyon run riots against India
Nathan Lyon picked up eight wickets as the spinner got rid of Pujara’s resistance, all thanks to skipper Steve Smith’s efforts in the field.
Smith may not have led the way with the bat as he was out for 26 in the first innings but the skipper was on top of his mark with his bowling changes and field placements.

Smith one-hand wonder
Steve Smith plucked a one-handed blinder at leg slips to end Cheteshwar Pujara’s stay in the middle. The batter departed for 59 as India was reduced to 155/8, leading by 67 runs.
A piece of brilliance on the field by Smith ended Pujara’s resistance as the batter tried to flick a full-length delivery on the pads behind the square on the leg side. However, Smith, fielding at leg slip, showcased his incredible reflexes as he bent down in a flash to take a stunning one-handed catch.

Lyon nearly made it two in a row as he beat Umesh Yadav, with the ball hitting his pads. The umpire raised his fingers but DRS came to his rescue.
However, Pujara departed in the next ball as he tries to take the aerial route.
