The FIH Hockey Men’s Junior World Cup is set to take place in India, with Tamil Nadu chosen as the host venue. For the first time in the tournament’s history, 24 teams will participate. Among them is Pakistan, marking a significant development – this could be Pakistan’s first sporting visit to India since the Pahalgam terror attack, given the strained relations between the two nations.
Adding to the excitement, India and Pakistan have been placed in the same pool, setting the stage for a much-anticipated face-off. The 24 participating teams have been divided into six pools, with four teams in each group.
