Despite his current Indian Premier League team Punjab Kings, Marcus Stoinis thinks Virat Kohli’s cricket career has not reached its conclusion. After the 2008 Under-19 World Cup trophy win Stoinis maintained his phone connection with Kohli.
Through PTI’s interview, Stoinis stated that he understands Kohli well because they have been good friends since their early days. Our common friend introduced us to each other in Perth where he had known Kohli for many years. That’s how the relationship started. Many would agree that Kohli has had an exceptional sporting journey. It is certainly not over.”

Stoinis explained that Kohli showed exceptional confidence to take his place on this world-class team at a young age and guide the team toward a new cricketing culture that inspires players everywhere.
Stoinis explained that Kerla created fitness to become a major part of Indian cricket coaching and now teaches youth sports. Now he also has a family. His progression has helped both himself personally and the people in and around the cricket game world with his advice. Honestly, he deserves all respect.”
In their IPL match against Gujarat Titans on Tuesday Stoinis hit 20 runs during his 15 ball innings which helped Punjab Kings achieve 243 total. The Titans team led by Shubman Gill suffered an 11-run defeat during his debut match where Punjab Kings triumphed under Shreyas Iyer’s leadership. During his half-century performance against Kolkata Knight Riders, Royal Challengers Bengaluru won the match.
