According to Hussey this season presented distinct challenges because many players gained their moments while the plans did not materialise accordingly. The cricketers Rachin Ravindra and Deepak Hooda received his appraisal because they kept working hard to develop their abilities although they did not get selected for match competitions.

Mike Hussey’s Statement Before Clash Against PBKS
“Impressed with his (Hooda’s) attitude, in particular. He was genuinely happy when youngsters got chances. Hooda did a decent job in the last match, that wasn’t an easy situation to play in. I was really happy for him,” Hussey said on the eve of the match against Punjab Kings at the MAC Stadium here on Tuesday.
