CSK’s numerous patriotic acts
The Chennai Super Kings have been known to show their patriotism on many occasions. In 2019, CSK donated the proceeds of their first home game to the families of the martyrs of the Pulwama Attack. This included 2 crore rupees collected from the ticket prices, and the BCCI also donated 20 crores to the families. CSK also introduced their jersey which had the Camouflage of the Indian Armed Forces. MS Dhoni, the captain of CSK, was also seen wearing the wicket keeping gloves which had the ‘Balidan’ symbol embedded on them.
