Umran, who was picked up by KKR for ₹75 lakhs in the 2025 IPL mega auction after being released by Sunrisers Hyderabad, had captured attention with his raw pace and fiery spells in earlier seasons. But injuries have sadly kept the speedster from realizing his full potential.
He’s managed to play just 26 matches since debuting in 2021, and only once back in 2022, did he complete a full IPL season. His last international outing came in 2023, after which he’s remained on the sidelines.
