The Indian Premier League 2025 mega auction is all set to kickstart from November 24 in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. The IPL 2025 mega auction has a start time of 03:30 PM IST (Indian Standard Time).
The Indian Premier League 2025 mega auction is all set to kickstart in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia from November 24. A total of 1577 players registered for the mega auction out of which the players pool was shortened to 577. This includes 367 Indian players and 110 overseas players. The ten franchises in total have around 204 slots to fill out of which 70 are of overseas players. The IPL 2025 mega auction is all set to start from 03:30 PM IST (Indian Standard Time) wherein the first session will be held until 05:30 PM IST (Indian Standard Time) and in between there will be 45 minute lunch break. After the break, the day 1 of the IPL 2025 mega auction will conclude around 10:30 PM IST (Indian Standard Time). Here is a look at the list of marquee players included in the auction. The marquee players have been included under two categories which includes marquee 1 and marquee 2. The base price of these players are INR 2 crore other than South Africa’s David Miller who has a base price of INR 1.50 crore.
