As the prestigious Ranji trophy, quarter-finals begin on 8 February 2025, Vidarbha’s Karun Nair smashed another century in the second quarter-finals against Tamil Nadu in 171 balls. Karun Nair has been having a wonderful domestic season as earlier also in Vijay Hazare trophy, Karun Nair was the top run scorer with 779 runs in eight innings with an average of 389.50, which included 5 centuries and 1 half century.

Domestic Performance
In Vijay Hazare trophy’s, quarter-final Clash, Vidarbha successfully chased down 292 runs against Rajasthan where Karun Nair played a 122 runs innings, but despite of his exceptional form Nair could not make his way to the national team. He was sold to Delhi Capitals for just 50 lakh rupees. During Vidarbha’s match against Hyderabad, Karun Nair scored 3 and 105 runs in both the innings respectively when the match took place at Nagpur. Also in Vidarbha match against Rajasthan at Ranji Trophy, Nair failed to create an impact with his batting where he scored 39 and 4 runs in both the innings.
