Pakistan and India will meet in the second Group A match of Champions Trophy 2025 when they play on Sunday (February 23) at Dubai International Cricket Stadium. Pakistan needs this match for a win. The defense champions will get eliminated from the Champions Trophy 2025 semifinal competition when Pakistan loses to India and New Zealand defeats Bangladesh on Monday (February 24). Pakistan’s Coach Aaqib Javed warned India about tomorrow’s match and said,
“We are going to surprise India tomorrow.”

Fakhar Zaman Out
At this crucial India match Fakhar Zaman cannot play because of an injury. Fakhar Zaman incurred his injury which forced medical professionals to prevent him from participating further in the tournament. The selection committee has substituted Imam for the team roster. Pakistan’s opener Fakhar suffered an injury when he fielded the ball during the first encounter with New Zealand. The team appointed left-handed batsman Imam-ul-Haq to fill the opening after Fakhar Zaman got injured. Pakistan fields Imam who participated in their last ODI match against South Africa in Chennai on October 27. 2023. Fakhar Zaman played 72 ODI matches during which he accumulated 3138 runs. Babar Azam may join Imam-ul-Haq at the open batting position.

New Inclusions
Pakistan team management will probably choose Kamran Ghulam as their replacement for Tayyab Tahir to improve their batting power against India.
