Kishan batted at number six when Nottinghamshire were 225 for four wickets, which later became 283 for six wickets. However, Kishan took control of one front. He then formed a 71-run seventh-wicket partnership with Liam Patterson-White. This put Nottinghamshire past the 350 runs mark. Kishan was in form to make a century, but on 87, he was caught by George Hill attempting to play Dom Bess’s ball. He became the seventh wicket.
Out From Team India Squad
Kishan was removed from the Indian Test team after December 2023. He was unable to return since then. Yet, he is attempting to play Tests once more. But because of Rishabh Pant and Dhruv Jurel, he has gone far back in the list of selectors. Ishan has played two Tests up till now, in which he made 78 runs. Both matches were during the West Indies tour. He has represented his national side in 58 first-class matches so far and scored 3447 runs at an average of 37.87. He has made eight centuries and 17 half-centuries in this category.
Besides Tests, Kishan is also unavailable for Team India’s ODI and T20 squads. Besides Kishan, Rituraj Gaikwad, Yuzvendra Chahal, and Tilak Verma are also featuring in the County Championship. Among these three players, only Tilak is featuring in this round. He is a member of the Hampshire side.
