The former Indian Test opener Wasim Jaffer took his social media platform to tell people to act sensitively on the recent terror attack in Pahalgam which killed 26 people. Apart from this, he condemned the attacks and called it as “Barbaric and Heinous” and also urged people not to make memes.
“To those asking why I haven’t posted any memes, this is not a time to make memes,” Jaffer wrote on X (formerly Twitter).

The “God of Cricket” Sachin Tendulkar also said “The affected families must be going through an unimaginable ordeal – India and the world stand united with them at this dark hour, as we mourn the loss of lives and pray for justice,”
Team India’s star Indian batter Virat Kohli took on his Instagram story and wrote, “Heartfelt condolences to the families of the victims. Praying for peace and strength to families of all those who lost their lives and justice to be served for their cruel act,” Kohli shared via a recent Instagram story.”
The current Indian head coach Gautam Gambhir also said “Praying for the families of the deceased. Those responsible for this will pay. India will strike,”.
