Pakistan registered a brilliant ten-wicket win over Zimbabwe in the PAK vs ZIM 2nd ODI of the three-match series played at the Queen’s Cricket Club in Bulawayo. Pakistan wrapped up Zimbabwe for the score of 145 runs while batting first and chased down the target in just 18.2 overs. Pakistan leg spinner Abrar Ahmed played a major role in helping the Pakistani team rattle hosts while bowling first. Abrar, who was playing his maiden ODI match, ended with figures of 4/33 in eight overs.

Abrar Ahmed Creates History In Bulawayo
Abrar Ahmed became only the fourth Pakistani bowler to pick up a four-wicket haul on ODI debut and joined legendary Pakistani bowlers such as Abdul Qadir, Zakir Khan and Sarfaraz Nawaz. He also recorded the second-best figures by a Pakistan bowler on ODI debut. Zakir Khan stands on the top and holds the best figures by a Pakistani bowler on ODI debut. The list is mentioned below:

- Abdul Qadir: 4/21 against New Zealand in Birmingham, 1984
- Abrar Ahmed: 4/33 against Zimbabwe in Bulawayo, 2024

Getting back to the PAK vs ZIM 2nd ODI match, the Zimbabwean team batted first and suffered early losses in the form of Joylord Gumbie and Tadiwanashe Marumani. Dion Myers tried to spend some time on the crease and played an innings of 33 runs from 30 balls, however, he was dismissed as well after getting a start. None of the other Zimbabwe batter stayed at the crease for long and in the end, the whole team got wrapped up for a score of 145 runs.
Chasing down the target, Zimbabwe started off really well, Saim Ayun smashed a brilliant century and played an unbeaten innings of 113 runs from 62 balls. Ayub hit 17 fours and three sixes during his time at the crease and other than him, Abdullah Shafique remained unbeaten for a score of 32 runs from 48 balls.
